In case anyone is interested, the Consortium for Classical and Lutheran Education is hosting their 2008 National Conference on August 5-7 at Patrick Henry College (in Virginia). The 2008 CCLE Conference theme is "For Christ and For Liberty: The Christian in Society." Three distinguished leaders in Classical Education constitute the Program Committee: Dr. Steven Hein, Dr. James Tallmon, and Dr. Gene E. Veith.
For those of you who aren't familiar with Dr. Veith, he's now the provost at Patrick Henry College. He's also a frequent contributor to World Magazine, a well known author, etc. etc.
This conference isn't just for Lutherans. And it's focused on both homeschoolers and classical school administrators/boards/teachers/etc.
Here's a link to the website: http://www.ccle.org/. There's some interesting stuff there for anyone interested in Classical Education (regardless of whether you'd ever be interested in a conference).
And by the way, things at our house are crazy right now in just about every area -- I may not be posting much until I emerge from the overwhelmed feeling... :)

I'm sorry you are so overwhelmed. I know what it's like. I've been trying to get back on the phone with you for 2 days now. I'm up now if you are you can call me. Smooch
It was good to talk to you last night. I wasn't able to get up until 10 and I still have a headache. Am I getting old? I feel old. Smooch.
